The activity will be open to the public. Attendees may buy some of the products displayed to encourage and support patients\, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. That is not the only aim\, of course. Patients can proudly share their stories of overcoming worries and frequent fears in a cancer journey. By talking to visitors\, they hope to increase awareness about cancer and all the types of difficulties encountered. Plus de 24 patients\, principalement des patients atteints du cancer du sein\, y ont assisté. Certains étaient accompagnés de membres de leur famille\, qui ont également participé activement à l’atelier. La formation comprenait à la fois des informations théoriques et principalement des ateliers pratiques sur la gestion du stress lié au cancer\, que ce soit lors du diagnostic et de l’annonce de la maladie\, ou pendant et après le traitement. Les participants avaient amplement l’opportunité d’interagir et de collaborer\, et ont pu exprimer librement leurs émotions et leurs préoccupations. Le Dr AMINE\, engagé dans le militantisme social au Canada et au Maroc depuis plus de 15 ans\, a créé une atmosphère confortable\, rassurante et empathique\, encourageant tous les participants à prendre part aux discussions et à partager leurs soucis et leurs expériences. Des messages d’espoir et d’optimisme ont circulé tout au long de la journée. L’un de ces messages provenait du Dr Mahmoud RIFAAT\, docteur en analyse génétique de l’Institut polytechnique et université d’État de Virginie\, États-Unis\, et professeur émérite de génétique à l’Université du canal de Suez\, Égypte\, qui a souligné les avancées prometteuses de la recherche et de la science dans le domaine du cancer. More than 24 patients mostly breast cancer patients attended. Some were accompanied by family members\, who also actively participated in the workshop. The training included both theoretical information and mainly practical workshops on how to manage cancer-related stress\, whether upon diagnosis and announcement or during and post treatment.  Attenddees had ample room for interaction and collaboration and gave free outlet to their emotions and concerns. Dr Amine\, who has been engaged in social activism in Canada and Morocco  for more than 15 years\, has created a comfortable\, reassuring and empathetic atmosphere\, encouraging all attendees to take part in the discussions and to share their concerns and experiences. Messages of hope and optimism circulated throughout.  One of these came from  Dr Mahmoud Rifaat\, Ph.D in Genetic Analysis from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University\, U.S.A and Emeritus Professor of Genetics in Suez Canal University\, Egypt\, who highlighted the promising advances of research and science in the field of cancer. Elle a présenté les initiatives et services offerts par Nabd-BC2\, en soulignant son rôle pour surmonter ces défis. \nMadame ESEGHIR a également discuté de l’impact profond des facteurs socio-économiques sur les patients atteints de cancer et leurs familles\, soulignant le soutien et les solutions que Nabd-BC2 met en œuvre pour alléger ces fardeaux\, ainsi que son plan stratégique et ses initiatives futures pour contribuer à l’amélioration des soins contre le cancer au Maroc. She introduced the remarkable initiatives and services offered by Nabd-BC2 \, emphasizing its role in addressing these challenges. \nMadam Ikram Eseghir also discussed the profound impact of socioeconomic factors on cancer patients and their families\, highlighting the unique solutions and support systems that Nabd-BC2 is implementing to alleviate these burdens. Her strategic insights also unveiled a visionary approach to enhancing cancer care in Morocco\, offering a glimpse into the Association’s future initiatives. She also acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the Moroccan government and other NGOs in this critical arena.
