SUMMARY:NABD-BC2 Participating in the SMEPS 10th National and 3rd African Congress
DESCRIPTION:The SMEPS (Société Marocaine de l’Economie des Produits de Santé) hosted its 10th National Congress and 3rd African Congress on Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacoepidemiology from May 30 to June 1\, 2024\, at the Bouregreg Congress Center in Salé\, Morocco. This significant event featured various activities\, including conferences\, roundtables\, symposiums\, workshops\, and presentations. This year’s event theme was “The Patient’s Voice in the Healthcare System\,” a major step toward facilitating discussions about the roles\, models\, challenges\, barriers\, and enablers of patient engagement. The congress also provided a rich database of successful experiences and models of patient empowerment from around the world. \nThe first day of the congress\, May 30\, was dedicated to workshops focused on the benefits of empowering patient organizations and associations\, highlighting the importance of patient advocacy and support within the healthcare ecosystem. \nOn the second day\, May 31\, a series of diverse presentations on patient engagement and roles worldwide took place. Mrs. Ikram Eseghir\, President of NADB-BC2 Association\, delivered an oral presentation titled “Facilitators and Barriers to Integrating Patient Voice in Decision-Making.” Her talk offered valuable insights into the challenges and enablers of patient engagement in cancer care\, particularly within the Moroccan context. \nThe final day\, June 1\, featured roundtable discussions and sessions\, bringing together national and international experts and stakeholders to explore various aspects of pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology. DESCRIPTION:NABD-BC2 est fier d’annoncer sa participation au lancement du rapport “Améliorer les soins contre le cancer du sein au Moyen-Orient et en Afrique” par l’IAPO (Alliance Internationale des Organisations de Patients) . Cette étude approfondie\, réalisée par l’Institut suédois d’économie de la santé\, examine les soins du cancer du sein dans neuf pays de la région MEA et propose des recommandations stratégiques en ligne avec l’Initiative mondiale contre le cancer du sein de l’OMS. Le rapport vise à soutenir les décideurs locaux dans l’amélioration des soins aux patientes et la réduction des taux de mortalité. \nEn réponse aux questions sur l’utilisation du rapport comme outil de plaidoyer\, la présidente l’association\, madame Ikram Eseghir a souligné les défis des organisations de patients dans ce domaine. DESCRIPTION:NABD-BC2 celebrates World Cancer Day this year through an artwork exhibition\, which will be held in Kenitra City\, Morocco. \nNABD-BC2 members\, primarily patients who have been participating in regular artwork workshops and their trainers\, are exhibiting their work on February 4th. The activity will be open to the public. Attendees may buy some of the products displayed to encourage and support patients\, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. That is not the only aim\, of course. Patients can proudly share their stories of overcoming worries and frequent fears in a cancer journey. By talking to visitors\, they hope to increase awareness about cancer and all the types of difficulties encountered. DESCRIPTION:حتفلت جمعية نبض لمواكبة مريضات سرطان الثدي بالمغرب باليوم العالمي لمكافحة السرطان من خلال معرض فني أقيم في مدينة القنيطرة في الرابع من فبراير 2024. عرض أعضاء الجمعية، ومعظمهن شاركن في ورشات فنية منتظمة، أعمالهن الفنية الرائعة. كان الحدث مفتوحًا للجميع، وشجّع الحضور على شراء بعض الأعمال الفنية لدعم المرضى. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، هدف الحدث إلى رفع الوعي بالسرطان وتحدياته. تحدثت المرضى عن تجاربهن الشخصية في مواجهة المرض، مما ساهم في تخفيف الوحدة والتوتر لدى الآخرين. وتأمل جمعية نبض أن يكون هذا اليوم مناسبةً لزيادة الوعي حول السرطان وجميع أنواع الصعوبات التي تواجهها المريضات، وجعل أصواتهن مسموعة، إضافةً إلى عرض أعمالهن اليدوية الفنية للعموم. \nزوروا موقع الحدث للمزيد من التفاصيل والصور. \n \nنبض، صوتكن النابض!

DESCRIPTION:Les membres de la NABD-BC2\, pour la plupart des patientes qui ont participé à des ateliers d’art réguliers et leurs formatrices\, exposent leur travail le 4 février à Kénitra\, au Maroc. L’activité sera ouverte au public. Les participants peuvent acheter certains des produits présentés pour encourager et soutenir les patientes\, en particulier celles issues de milieux défavorisés. Ce n’est bien sûr pas le seul objectif. Les patientes peuvent fièrement partager leurs histoires et comment elles ont surmonté les inquiétudes et les peurs fréquentes dans un parcours contre le cancer. En discutant avec les visiteurs\, ils espèrent les sensibiliser au cancer et à tous les types de difficultés rencontrées. DESCRIPTION:L’Association NADB-BC2 a organisé une rencontre informative le vendredi 2 février à 16h pour célébrer le deuxième anniversaire de sa création. Plus de 100 personnes étaient présentes\, y compris des patients\, certains membres de leur famille\, des professionnels de la santé\, des chercheurs et universitaires\, des donateurs\, des bénévoles\, des soutiens\, d’autres activistes associatifs et de la société civile\, des journalistes\, des représentants des autorités locales\, ainsi que d’autres personnes intéressées. \nLa rencontre a débuté par une courte visite pour découvrir certaines des œuvres d’art réalisées par les patients dans divers ateliers. Ensuite\, une présentation a été faite pour offrir une vue d’ensemble complète de la fondation\, des activités\, des membres\, des partenaires\, des réalisations\, des défis et des perspectives de l’association. Cette présentation a favorisé une grande interactivité avec le public\, qui a apporté des retours et des suggestions pertinents ; certains ont également partagé leurs histoires personnelles. DESCRIPTION:NADB-BC2 Association hosted an informative gathering on Friday\, February 2nd\, at 4 PM to celebrate the second anniversary of its establishment. The event aimed to introduce and showcase the association’s activities and achievements. Animé par Dr Sawsan Al Madhi\, Mme Daniela Mothci et Mme Bahija Gouimi\, cet événement clé marque une étape significative dans la promotion de la littératie en santé\, du plaidoyer et de l’éducation sur les soins personnalisés du cancer (PCC) dans la région de la Méditerranée orientale. Issu de la création de l’Alliance des Soins Personnalisés du Cancer (PCCA) en 2022 et du lancement révolutionnaire d’une position sur les PCC dans la Méditerranée orientale en 2023\, le Maroc joue un rôle pionnier dans la mise en œuvre des 5 P des soins du cancer : prédictifs\, préventifs\, participatifs\, personnalisés et préventifs. Le programme comprenait une visite à Dar Al Amal\, le siège de l’Association des Malades Atteints de Leucémies\, un dîner de bienvenue et un atelier d’une journée\, offrant une plateforme de collaboration\, de renforcement des capacités et de développement d’un chapitre sur les PCC au Maroc. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Sawsan Al Madhi\, Mrs. Daniela Mothci\, and Mrs. Bahija Gouimi\, this pivotal event marks a significant milestone in advancing health literacy\, advocacy skills\, and education on Personalized Cancer Care (PCC) in the Eastern Mediterranean region. Stemming from the establishment of the Personalised Cancer Care Alliance (PCCA) in 2022 and the groundbreaking position paper launch on PCC in the Eastern Mediterranean in 2023\, Morocco plays a pioneering role in implementing the 5 Ps of cancer care: predictive\, preventative\, participatory\, personalized\, and pre-emptive. The comprehensive two-day program included a visit to Dar Al Amal\, the headquarters of “Association des Malades Atteints de Leucémies\,” a welcome dinner\, and a full-day workshop\, providing a platform for collaboration\, capacity building\, and the cultivation of a PCC chapter in Morocco. DESCRIPTION:تلقت جمعية نبض لمواكبة مريضات سرطان الثدي بالمغرب (NABD-BC2) دعوة مشرفة من التحالف الدولي لجمعيات المرضى (IAPO) للمشاركة في ورشة عمل بناء قدرات الجمعيات المغربية لمرضى السرطان ، التي نظمت بالتعاون مع شركة إم إس دي المغرب، في فندق كنزي روز جاردن بمراكش من 27 إلى 28 يناير 2024. بتأطير من الدكتورة سوسن الماضي، السيدة دانييلا موتسي، والاستاذة بهيجة كومي، يعتبر هذا الحدث الهام نقطة بارزة في تعزيز الوعي الصحي وتطوير مهارات المناصرة والتثقيف حول الرعاية التخصيصية لمرضى السرطان (PCC) في منطقة شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط. يأتي هذا التطور نتيجة لتأسيس تحالف الرعاية التخصيصية لمرضى السرطان (PCCA) في عام 2022 وإطلاق ورقة موقف رائدة حول PCC في شرق البحر الأبيض المتوسط في عام 2023. يلعب المغرب دورا رائدا في تنفيذ العناصر الخمس للرعاية السرطانية: التنبؤية، والوقائية، والمشاركة، والتخصيصية، والاستباقية. شمل البرنامج زيارة إلى دار الأمل، مقر جمعية امل لمرضى اللوكيميا، بالإضافة إلى عشاء ترحيبي وورشة عمل ليوم كامل، مما قدم منصة للتعاون وبناء القدرات وكتابة فصل جديد ل PCC في المغرب. وكان قد أجري استطلاع مفصل مع 12 جمعية لمرضى السرطان قصد جمع معلومات دقيقة، استغلت نتائجها في تطوير محتويات الورشة وضمان ملاءمتها وفعاليتها للسياق المغربي.

DESCRIPTION:شاركت رئيسة جمعية نبض بنشاط في المؤتمر السنوي الثاني لالجمعية المغربية لأطباء الأورام في القطاع الخاص (OMM)، الذي أقيم في مراكش حول أونكولوجيا التحديدية. شاركت بتجربتها ورؤيتها كمريضة. شارك الحضور، بما فيهم فاعلون طبيون، طلاب، ولأول مرة مرضى بنشاط في ورش العمل والمناقشات. تناولت هذه الفعاليات الابتكارات العلاجية الحديثة في مجال الأورام، مثل التحليل الجيني، ومثبطات CDK4/6، ومثبطات PARP… المتعلقة بأنواع مختلفة من السرطانات، بما في ذلك العلاج في المرحلة الأولى لسرطان الثدي المنتشر (HR+ HER2-)، وعلاج الأمراض المناعية لسرطان الرئة، وغيرها. من خلال عرضها، قامت السيدة إكرام الصغير بمشاركة تجربتها ورحلتها العلاجية، مؤكدة على أهمية النهج الموجه نحو المريض في عالم الأورام. \nنبض؛ صوتكن النابض!

SUMMARY:الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للسرطان
DESCRIPTION:اجتمعت مجموعة متنوعة من المشاركين، بما في ذلك المريضات والداعمين وأعضاء الجمعية على شاطئ مهدية بالقنيطرة في المغرب.\nارتدت المشاركات ثوبا يحمل اسم الجمعية NABD-BC2.\nتذكرنا كلمة “نبض” في اللغة العربية بأن الحياة تستمر بعد تشخيص السرطان. اما “BC2” فهو اختصار يرمز إلى Best (أفضل)، Care (رعاية)، لBreast Cancer (سرطان الثدي) وتعني أفضل رعاية لسرطان الثدي. \nبدأت الفعالية في الحادية عشرة صباحا، واستمرت لمدة ساعتين، مستقبلة المشاركين من جميع الأعمار. استمتعت الصغيرة جوديا، البالغة من العمر 30 شهرا فقط، بالمشي والألعاب الترفيهية. كرست لحظة لتكريم ذكرى مرضى السرطان الذين فارقوا الحياة. ومنهم “رجاء”، التي سمح لنا زوجها مشكورا باستعمال صورتها على ملصق الفعالية . \nركزت الفعالية على دعم مرضى السرطان، ورفع الوعي حول حقوقهم، والدفاع من أجل تطوير الوصول إلى الرعاية السرطانية على مستوى العالم. تجول المشاركون معا، واستمتعوا بألعاب ترفيهية، وكتبوا رسائل على الرمال، وشاركوا تجاربهم الشخصية مع السرطان. \nرسالة هذا النشاط أن تشخيص السرطان ليس حكما بالإعدام؛ ان حق الولوج العادل الى الخدمات العلاجية ذات الجودة يجلب الأمل ويؤكد أن الحياة مستمرة، حتى في وجه السرطان. \nنبض؛ صوتكن النابض!
