During the session\, discussions focused on how healthcare systems can prioritize cancer screening to improve early diagnosis\, reduce treatment costs\, and lower cancer mortality rates. \nAs part of the event\, Mrs. Ikram Eseghir\, president of NABD-BC2 association and a person with lived experience of cancer\, shared her valuable perspective on the importance of early detection. Her personal experience and work through NABD-BC2 highlight the critical role NGOs play in raising awareness and driving initiatives to enhance cancer screening and diagnosis. Her contribution to the panel underscored the need for collaborative efforts between healthcare professionals\, policymakers\, and advocacy organizations to improve cancer care in the EMR. \nThe session also featured distinguished panelists from Egypt\, Saudi Arabia\, the UAE\, Pakistan\, and Morocco\, who discussed the barriers and enablers to cancer screening in their respective countries.
